From the North Hills
279S to 579S (crosstown); Blvd of the Allies to Forbes Ave/Oakland Exit, Right at the 1st traffic light for Craft Ave, or Right at 2nd light Halket Street to park.

From the South Hills
Liberty Bridge to Blvd of the Allies; proceed as above, OR Ft. Pitt Bridge to 376E; Oakland Exit; proceed as above.

From the Parkway East
376W; Oakland/Bates St Exit; uphill to traffic light; Left onto Blvd of the Allies; Right onto Halket Str (to park) or 2nd Right is Craft Ave.

From Downtown Pittsburgh
Blvd of the Allies to Forbes Ave/Oakland Exit, Right at the 1st traffic light for Craft Ave, or Right at 2nd light Halket Str to park.

Parking - use this lot after 5:00 pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends.
Discount parking is available at Magee Women's Hospital. Enter on Halket Street.  Upon entering the lot you will be given a parking ticket.  Bring the ticket into the Playhouse to purchase an exit pass.

From the North

Take I-79 to Exit 59 (Pittsburgh exit) which will take you onto I-279 South.
Follow I-279 South, and look for exit signs for the Fort Pitt Bridge/Airport. This will lead you across the Fort Duquesne Bridge to Exit 10 (Fort Duquesne Boulevard). The distance from I-279 South to the Fort Duquesne Bridge is 11 miles.
Once on Fort Duquesne Boulevard, make the first right onto Stanwix Street.
Proceed through three lights, and make a left onto the Boulevard of the Allies.
Point Park University is two blocks ahead at the corner of the Boulevard of the Allies and Wood Street.

From the South

Follow Route 19 North through the Liberty Tunnels. Upon exiting the tunnels, you will now be on the Liberty Bridge.
Stay in the right lane and take the Boulevard of the Allies exit.
Make a left at the stop sign onto the Boulevard of the Allies and follow for approximately four blocks to the intersection of Wood Street and Boulevard of the Allies.
Point Park University is on the right.

Or

Follow I-79 North and take the I-279 Pittsburgh exit (Cranberry Exit 28).
Follow I-279 North straight for several miles staying in the left lane leading you into the Fort Pitt Tunnels. Upon exiting the tunnels, you will now be on the Fort Pitt Bridge. The left lane turns into the second-to-the-right lane on the Fort Pitt Bridge.
Follow the sign for the Boulevard of the Allies.
When coming down the off ramp, bear right onto the Boulevard of the Allies.
You will come to a traffic light. Go straight and remain on the Boulevard of the Allies until you come to the intersection of Wood Street and Boulevard of the Allies.
Point Park University is on the left.

From the East

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike, take Interchange 57, Monroeville.
Follow the signs to Pittsburgh taking the I-376 West to the Grant Street Exit, Exit 1C.
At the third light, make a left onto Boulevard of The Allies. Remain on the Boulevard of the Allies until you come to the intersection of Wood Street and Boulevard of the Allies.
Point Park University will be on your right.  

From the West

From Route 60 South, it will merge into I-279 North.
Follow I-279 North straight for several miles staying in the left lane leading you into the Fort Pitt Tunnels. Upon exiting the tunnels, you will now be on the Fort Pitt Bridge. The left lane turns into the second-to-the-right lane on the Fort Pitt Bridge.
Follow the sign for the Boulevard of the Allies.
When coming down the off ramp, bear right onto the Boulevard of the Allies. You will come to a traffic light.
Go straight and remain on the Boulevard of the Allies until you come to the intersection of Wood Street and Boulevard of the Allies.
Point Park University is on the left.

Or

Take Route 22/30 until it joins I-279 North Pittsburgh.
Follow I-279 North straight for several miles staying in the left lane leading you into the Fort Pitt Tunnels. The left lane turns into the second-to-the-right lane on the Fort Pitt Bridge.
Follow the sign for the Boulevard of the Allies.
When coming down the off ramp, bear right onto the Boulevard of the Allies. You will come to a traffic light.
Go straight and remain on the Boulevard of the Allies until you come to the intersection of Wood Street and Boulevard of the Allies.
Point Park University is on the left.

Parking

Parking is available at the Pittsburgh Parking Authority Wood Street-Boulevard of the Allies Garage, located across the street from the campus.

Meter parking is available on the Boulevard of the Allies.  You should follow the meter directions for the hours you are permitted to park on the street.

The public entrance to the Byham Theater is on Sixth Street, at the corner or Sixth Street and Ft. Duquesne Boulevard, adjacent to the Rennaisance Pittsburgh Hotel.

FROM THE NORTH

Follow Interstate 279 South to Pittsburgh
Take the Veteran's Bridge/ Interstate 579 Exit
Stay in the right lane and take Sixth Avenue Exit
Follow Sixth Avenue to Liberty Avenue and turn left
Proceed on Liberty Avenue to Sixth Street
Make a right on Sixth Street
Proceed through traffic light at Penn Avenue
Byham Theater is on the right

Or

Follow Interstate 279 South to Pittsburgh
The Fort Duquesne Bridge Exit and stay in the left lane
Take the Fort Duquesne Blvd. Exit off the bridge
Proceed on Fort Duquesne Blvd. to Sixth Street
Make a right on Sixth Street
Byham Theater is immediately on the left

FROM THE SOUTH

Follow Route 51 North (Saw Mill Run Blvd.) to the Liberty Tunnels
Turn right into the Tunnels and proceed across the Liberty Bridge
Take the Interstate 579 Exit onto Crosstown Blvd.
Immediately exit to the left on Seventh Avenue
Follow Seventh Avenue to Liberty Avenue and turn left
Proceed on Liberty Avenue to Sixth Street
Make a right on Sixth Street
Proceed through traffic light at Penn Avenue
Byham Theater is on the right

Or

Follow Route 837 North through Pittsburgh's South Side
At Station Square, turn right on Smithfield Street Bridge
Follow Smithfield Street to Sixth Avenue, turn left
Proceed on Sixth Avenue to Liberty Avenue
Make a left on Liberty Avenue
Proceed on Liberty Avenue to Sixth Street
Make a right on Sixth Street
Proceed through traffic light at Penn Avenue
Byham Theater is on the right

FROM THE EAST

From the Turnpike, take exit 6 to Monroeville/Pittsburgh
Take I-376 West (towards Pittsburgh) for 13.5 miles to Exit 1C, Grant Street
At the signal at the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Fort Pitt Boulevard
Continue another 0.4 miles and at the third signal, turn right, onto Stanwix Street
Proceed straight to the fourth light and bear right (45º angle) onto Liberty Avenue
Go to the second traffic light and turn left onto Sixth Street
Go two blocks to the Byham Theater, located on the right, at the corner of Fort Duquesne Boulevard and Sixth Street

Follow Interstate 376 West to Pittsburgh
Take the Boulevard of the Allies Exit
Take the 579 exit onto Crosstown Blvd.
Immediately exit to the left on Seventh Avenue
Follow Seventh Avenue to Liberty Avenue and turn left
Proceed on Liberty Avenue to Sixth Street
Make a right on Sixth Street
Proceed through traffic light at Penn Avenue
Byham Theater is on the right

FROM THE WEST

Follow Interstate 279 North to Pittsburgh
Proceed to Fort Pitt Tunnels
Take Fort Duquesne Boulevard Exit
Proceed on Fort Duquesne Blvd. to Sixth Street
Make a right on Sixth Street
Byham Theater is immediately on the left

There are over 5,000 parking spaces available in lots and garages throughout the Cultural District.  The garage nearest to the Byham is the Ft. Duquesne & Sixth Street Garage with 910 spaces.
