Robert A. Miller is an acclaimed Hollywood producer, director and screenwriter, probably best known for producing the film The Crucible, nominated for two Academy Awards featuring actors Daniel Day-Lewis, Winona Ryder, Joan Allen and Paul Scofield. Having produced TV commercials for more than twenty years, his list of clients includes products as diverse as Coca Cola, Jaguar, Bank of America, Michelob, Visa and McDonald’s. He produced music videos by Huey Lewis and the News, Lou Reed, Don Felder, Randy Newman and ZZ-Top. His directorial credits include the Company of Angels in Hollywood; Bend In the River- a live PBS broadcast featuring Ken Kesey; documentaries, commercials and educational films. Miller is the co-writer of three original screenplays with Stephen Blom-Cooper; Milking Spinoza; Deja vu and Steel Drums. More recently, Mr. Miller produced the film Focus, starring William H. Macy, Laura Dern, David Paymer and Meat Loaf. |

Ricky Ian Gordon works in musical theatre, art, song and opera. He is a lyricist and lover of poetry and literature. His songs have been performed and/or recorded by such internationally renowned singers as Renee Fleming, Dawn Upshaw, Audra MacDonald, Kristin Chenoweth, Harolyn Blackwell and Betty Buckley. The Pittsburgh Opera will present Gordon’s opera, The Grapes of Wrath, in November of this year. The John Steinbeck novel has become a stage play, film and now an opera. Gordon’s interests lie in both timely and universal implications of The Grapes of Wrath story as an American masterwork told in multiple artistic media. |

Jane Alexander’s distinguished acting career includes her Tony Award-winning performance in The Great White Hope directed by Ed Sherin (her husband) and Tony nominated roles in Honour, The Sisters Rosensweig, The Visit, First Monday In October, Find Your Way Home, and 6 Rms Riv Vu, all on Broadway. Jane appeared on Broadway and on London’s West End in Shadowlands opposite Nigel Hawthorne. Overall, Ms. Alexander has appeared in over 100 stage roles throughout her career. Jane recently shot 3 films this year: Gigantic with Paul Dano and Zoey Deschanel; The Unborn - the David Goyer horror film; and she just wrapped Terminator: Salvation directed by McG, with Christian Bale. Ms. Alexander, a four-time Oscar nominee for the films Testament, Kramer vs. Kramer, All The President’s Men, and The Great White Hope, has appeared in over 50 screen roles in her illustrious career. Most recently, Jane has been seen in Feast of Love, Fur, The Ring and Sunshine State. Jane currently is co-starring in HBO’s drama series Tell Me You Love Me, which will enter its second season this year. Ms. Alexander received the Emmy Award for outstanding supporting actress for HBO’s film Warm Springs, she won an Emmy Award for the film Playing For Time, and has received numerous other Emmy nominations. Ms Alexander played Jenifer Estess’ mother, Marilyn, in the CBS telepic Jenifer about Project A.L.S’s founder Jenifer Estess, directed by Jane’s son, Jace Alexander. Ms Alexander is the author of “Command Performance: An actress in the Theater of Politics”, documenting her tenure as chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts from 1993-1997. |

Michael Rupert has starred on Broadway in Sweet Charity (revival), for which he won the Tony and Drama Desk Awards, Falsettos (Tony nomination), The Happy Time (Tony nomination and Theater World Award), Ragtime, City of Angels, Mail, Shakespeare’s Cabaret, and Pippin. Off-Broadway, he has appeared in Ancient History, Putting it Together, March of the Falsettos, Falsetto Land and Elegies. His regional theater credits include Splitting Infinity, Adrift in Macao, A New Brain (Helen Hayes nomination), Golden Boy, Don’t Stop the Carnival (Carbonell nomination), The Merchant of Venice, Another Midsummer Night, Leonard Bernstein’s Mass, Falsettos (Ovation Award), Life (X) 3, Baby, The Diary of Anne Frank, Elegies (Barrymore Award) and Real Men, at such theaters as the Philadelphia Theater Company, the Repertory Theater of St Louis, Long Wharf, the Coconut Grove Playhouse, Hartford Stage Company, Chicago’s Goodman Theater, the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, the Paper Mill Playhouse and the Kennedy Center. Michael is the composer of 3 Guys Naked from the Waist Down, for which he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award, Mail (L.A. Drama Critics nomination). He directedThrill Me at The York, and the critically acclaimed Conservatory Theatre Company production of Ragtime at the Playhouse. Michael is currently performing in Legally Blonde on Broadway. Last season, the Conservatory Theatre Company presented the world premiere of Rupert's new musical, Streets of America, which he co-wrote with Matthew Riopelle. |
